Jesus sent Jonathan Albert Hildreth into this world in Phoenix, Arizona on May 14, 1980 to loving parents Laura and Tom. They were thrilled and fell completely in love with their newborn baby boy. As he grew he continued to capture their hearts with his love and wonderful smile. Before long Jon had younger brothers Albert Eugene and Joshua Alan to adore and love for the rest of their lives. Jon always took it upon himself to guide and protect them as they grew up together. Jonathan was a handsome youngster who enjoyed baseball, BMX racing and loved the New York Jets. As a little boy he loved Star Wars. This lead him to his life long passion for reading science fiction, mysteries, history and the Bible. He knew his Bible and spent many hours in biblical discussions with Mother Laura as he searched its pages. Jon attended Ironwood high school in Peoria where he played football for the Ironwood Eagles as a freshman. He subsequently earned his Associates degree from Arizona Automotive Institute. Afterward, regardless of where he was employed, he was known for his enthusiastic energy and attention to detail. He enjoyed good humor and laughed infectiously when he found it. Jon was an avid motorcyclist. He adored his dog Happy Girl from the time he revived her after birth, by rubbing her with a towel to start her breathing. He said he saw that done in the movie 101 Dalmations and it was all he knew to do. It worked, and she faithfully adored him in return. Mother Laura, Father Tom, brother Josh and a host of loving family walked Jon to the edge of Heaven on a beautiful Saturday morning. He went on alone from there where he fell asleep in the arms of Jesus. As his family lamented his absence , Jon awoke reborn in a place infused with infinite love. There he began a new eternal life in the presence of God. He is happy. He is full of joy. He is at peace. Celebrating with the loved ones who welcomed him. Jonathan Hildreth's memory in THIS world is left to loving maternal grandparents John Edward Steckbauer and Ardis Joy Kluth, parents Thomas Albert Hildreth and Laura Lee Redman, brothers Albert Eugene and Joshua Alan Hildreth as well as numerous other family, and friends who number like the stars.
