Alice (Armenta) Hostetter, born March 29, 1945, in Mesa, Arizona entered into her eternal sleep peacefully surrounded by loved ones on April 21, 2022. Alice was an employee of the Maricopa County Assessor’s Office for 22 years. Many of her co-workers became close friends and remained friends until her death. Alice was an avid Arizona Diamondbacks fan and always watched them on TV when she couldn’t make it to the local games. She lovingly referred to them as her Keystone Cops. Alice was known for her color coordination with her wardrobe and made sure that her clothing matched her jewelry and accessories. She was also known for her interior decorating skills of her home for all seasons, especially Christmas. Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hostetter; son, Stephen Matthew Vidaure; her parents, Jose and Ventura Armenta; sisters, Mona Contreras, Margaret Ocano, and Eve Armenta; brothers Adam Armenta and Alex Armenta; and several nieces and nephews. Alice is survived by her daughters, Susan Aguire (Mike); Stephanie Daniels (Tim); stepson, David Hostetter (Tess); stepdaughter Dorothy Hostetter; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Mary Rodriguez, Katy Patton, Vicky Sesma (Arnold); Sally Craig (Bill); and brothers, Joe Armenta (Linda); and Richard Armenta (Pamela)
