Allan was born on January 9, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Henry Guzinski and the late Angela Zapka (nee Marlega). Allan was a loving and devoted husband for 36 years to his first wife, the late Barbara (nee Juneau). Allan passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with COPD. His loving wife and caregiver, Rhonda (nee Weeks), was at his side. “We had eight incredible years.” Allan is survived by four children – Gina Tappy, Rick Ross, Ryan (Tara) Ross, and Robert (Yolanda) Guzinski, and nine Grandchildren, Angela (Jeremy) Sylvester, Katlyn Tappy, Allie Tappy, Alex Carlson, Jacob Ross, Logan Ross, Brandon Ross, Stephanie Ross, and Allan Ross. He is further survived by one brother, Leon (Esther) Guzinski, and one sister, Janet (John) Romans as well as nieces, nephews, other family members, special neighbors and friends, including Christian Laughner, whom Allan had a special bond with, and our many thanks to Hospice of the Valley. Allan was a decorated Vietnam war veteran and a proud Marine. He received several honors from the Marine Corp including two purple hearts, issued to those wounded in battle, and an RVN Gallantry Cross Medal with Palm. Instituted in 1950, this is awarded for valor and heroic conduct while fighting the enemy. He is a hero to all who loved him. His battle with COPD has finally ended and he rests in the arms of The Lord. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. We will always remember the joy, laughter, and guidance he brought to our lives. Rest in Peace…until we meet again.
