On February 11, 2023 Bea went to be with the Lord and her family and friends who preceded her. She was born on August 8, 1931 to the late Serafin and Elvira Antunes in Peekskill, NY. She was a graduate of Peekskill High School, Class of ’49. Bea was an employee for many years at Montgomery Ward Catalog Store. She married and moved to Shrub Oak, NY. In 1978, she and her family moved to Phoenix, AZ. She was a longtime employee of the Deer Valley School District and a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Bea is survived by her son, Dennis (Gail, Taylor, Adelyn Rae); her daughter, Denise McGloughlin (Glen, Tucker); her brother, Anthony, and many nieces and nephews. Her brothers, Fred and Andy, and sister, Theresa, predeceased her. Bea was a joyful spirit, and we will miss her horribly! A viewing will be held at Dorsey-Carlone Funeral Home in Peekskill, New York on Wednesday, February 22 from 10:00am to 11:00am. Gravesite services to follow at the Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Bea wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations are made in her name to St. Jude or your favorite charity.
