Beverly Diane O’Meara, born as Beverly Waymire, passed away peacefully Saturday March, 20th at 8:30pm in Phoenix Arizona surrounded by her family. She was born September 6th, 1936 in Council Grove, Kansas to Bonnie and Jacob Waymire. She united in marriage to Ray Anderson and gave birth to two sons and one daughter. She united in marriage with Millard Norris and gave birth to one son. She lastly united in marriage to Jerry O’Meara and gave birth to one daughter. Beverly was proceeded in death by her father, Jacob Waymire of Council Grove Kansas, her mother Bonnie Waymire of Olathe Kansas, brothers Jack Waymire of Independence Missouri, and Don Waymire of Olathe Kansas. Beverly is survived by her younger sister Kay Gladow of Salina, Kansas, son Rick Anderson (Mary) of Marion North Carolina, daughter Susan Denett (Tarl) of McPherson Kansas, son Randy Anderson of Marion North Carolina, son Scott Norris (Robin) of Olathe Kansas, and daughter Jodi Grassy (Brice) of Phoenix Arizona. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Beverly was a long-time resident of Olathe Kansas, where she lived after leaving her hometown of Council Grove Kansas. She moved from Olathe to spend the last six years of her life in Phoenix, Arizona. Beverly loved to read, crochet, and spend her days on facetime with family members. She loved to donate crocheted hats and blankets to the homeless shelters, sew outfits for the stillborn babies at local hospitals. She loved to sing and play gospel music on the piano. She devoted her entire life to raising her kids, and helping to raise her grandkids and great-great grandkids. She enjoyed creating wild stories to tell her family members, Her lap was a safe haven to shelter her babies from the world. Her sweet songs could calm anyone and make you feel like the most important person. Beverly was a Chiefs fan for the entirety of her life and loved to watch the games. Patrick Mahomes won her heart and she was so excited to see his baby. Beverly was a lifetime member of Church of Christ Christian and later in life Cornerstone Community. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord and spreading the word of God to others. Beverly never met a stranger and took in those who had no family, friends of her many grandkids only ever knew her as grandma. Her legacy is one that will live on forever.
