Date of Death: January 06, 2022
Brian Anh Seabold of Phoenix, Arizona passed away unexpectedly January 6, 2022, at the age of 49. He was born in South Vietnam and was adopted by James and Jeanne Seabold in 1973. Brian grew up in Iowa City, Iowa and graduated from West High School in 1991. Growing up, he loved visiting his grandparents’ farm in the summer and riding ponies with his cousins. Brian went to Colorado Mountain College in Leadville, Colorado and received an Associate of Arts Degree. He set up and managed Recycle Ski & Sport in Frisco, Colorado. Brian’s favorite things were skiing and biking; he was an amazing athlete in both sports. But catching big air can lead to injuries, requiring physical therapy and pain medications, resulting in his struggles with addiction. Brian moved to Holland, MI, spending time on the family farm and working at Reliable Sport. Eventually he moved to Phoenix to be closer to his parents. In 2018, he graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, and an emphasis on Substance Abuse Counseling. He did his internship at Crossroads, a live-in recovery center. Brian was working at Dick’s Sporting Goods and North Valley Bicycle Shop selling and repairing bikes. His charisma, expertise and exceptional mechanical skills made him a successful business person throughout his career. Brian is survived by his parents James and Jeanne Seabold, his sisters Renee (Pete) Willemsen, Denise Seabold (Chris Pech) and Gail Seabold; nieces and nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him greatly. Brian’s family would like to thank Nile Smith, Tony Price and all of his other friends who gave him help and support throughout his life.
A family memorial will be held at a later date.
