Brian Guy Schultz was born on October 10th 1973 in Phoenix AZ to Kathy and Roy Schultz. He was second to his older sister Kimberly. At a young 46, Brian passed away in his home on January 20th, 2020. Growing up Brian loved playing with his dogs; Dillinger, Brandy, and Fraulein. He enjoyed family camping trips, riding his bike, water skiing & boating at the lake, motorcycle riding in the desert and racing his '72 Nova around, which him and his dad built together. In high school he loved playing football, #85, not caring what other people thought of him, he was always the goofball of the group. Brian was a Cowboy and he was also a train engineer and worked as a wildland firefighter for many years. Brian worked hard labor most of his life as a journeyman roofer. He had pride in his work and had excellent craftsmanship. In his late teenage years and early 20's, Brian and his friends, Hans, Jeff, Tiffany, Carrie and Sandy loved to hang out, dance, and ride the bulls at Mr. Lucky's. Brian had 4 children; Colton, Alexis, Austin, and Brittany. He had 4 stepchildren; Taylor, Lindsey, Tiffani and Dena. Brian also had 4 grandchildren; Harper, Bentley, Brooke and Nyxon. He also had 11 loving nieces and nephews. He met the love of his life, Virginia Ann Jarvis on May 28th 2012 and got married a year later on May 28th 2013. The two bought a house together, having two loving pets, Arya the dog and Bella the pig. Brian was a very sensitive man. He held strong old-fashioned values. He was an animal lover and a hardworking, stubborn, affectionate guy. Brian will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 6th, 2020 at 2pm at Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV) at 7007 W Happy Valley Rd, Peoria, Az 85383. Flowers/Monetary gifts/Cards may be delivered to building #400 between 12:30pm-1:00pm on the day of service.
