She was a very strong willed woman who independently raised 6 children in the beginning of her life while striving for a insatiable desire for knowledge and wisdom going to college to become a teacher no matter the circumstances. Later in her life she took it upon herself to raise and love her youngest son who she poured all her passion and love into. The legacy of Carmen Lawson is to be intelligent without being ignorant and love all who are around you. Survived by her 7 Children, Erlinda Blossom, Consuelo Hernandez, Eva Flores, Josepha C. Flores, Yolanda Armenta, Maximo Flores Christian Martinez, and her Distinguished Daughter Prada, 10 grandchildren and 17 Grandchildren
