On Tuesday June 15, 2021 , Carol Lillian Smail, loving mother, grandmother , and great grandmother passed away at the age of 84. Carol Smail was born March 7, 1937 in Allegheny County, Pa. Carol married the love of her life David Smail on March 11, 1961 in Allegheny County, Pa where they raised two beautiful children Billie Jean and David. Carol and David moved to Arizona in 1994 to be closer to their daughter and family. Carol and David lived in the RV park Desert Ridge where David worked everyday till the day he passed away in 2002. Carol continued to live there till she moved in with her daughter and son in law in 2017. Carol loved to meet new people anywhere she went. She loved family gatherings and had a smile that would melt your heart. She loved to sing. She would sing her favorite songs in the car, sing around her home, and would call you on your birthdays and sing happy birthday. Carol loved to dance. She would grab your hand and twirl you around the room. Carol loved animals. Her furry companion Danny was constantly by her side. During our family parties she would be throwing the ball for the dogs , sneaking them treats or just rubbing their bellies. She also loved to visit the animals with her daughter on their daily walks. Carol would always be humming or whistling a tune. She loved hanging out with her family playing with her grandkids. Carol loved to swing on her chair on the porch. Carol had a way to make you laugh whenever you needed it, and had a way of leaving a mark on your heart you can never forget. Carol is survived by her son David Smail and daughter Billie Jean and her husband Eddie. Carol will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Desiree and husband Phillip, Andy and wife Alex , Veronica and husband Joey, Juanita, and Eddie Jr., along with her 5 great grandchildren Annalicia, Jordyn, Brody, Ethan, and Serenity. Carol is now joined forevermore with her love David and their dog Crystal in our Lord’s Light.
Carol’s family and close friends will honor her legacy with a private celebration of her life.
