This is Clarence Lee Miles obituary in loving memory. Clarence Lee Miles passed away on January 8th 2019 at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix AZ from Natural causes. He was born in Huntington Indiana on June 14th 1942. Father's name was Max Miles and Mother's name is Rose Miles (Holzinger). He liked to be called “Chuck”. He didn’t like his given name Clarence, but kept it as his legal first name. Chuck has two younger sisters Marlene K. Baker (James) and Louise Covey (Jack). Chuck graduated from Huntington High School in Huntington, Indiana in 1960, then he joined the United States Air Force right after his graduation. He served for about 21 years. He was a strategic air command as a control tower operator in United Air Force. He served the United State Air Force in various places around the world. He served in Vietnam where he met and married Sala Miles (Bucha) in 1975 in Thailand. Chuck had Visun Bucha as a stepson. Chuck and Sala moved to Phoenix, AZ and stationed at Luke Air Force base and retired from the Air Force with range of Staff Sergeant in 1981. Then he achieved his Associate Degree in Applied Science in Construction Drafting from Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona in 1987. Chuck enjoyed genealogy researching his family and learning all of the facts and details. His sister Louise got him started on genealogy when he visited her and her younger sister Marlene back in Indiana in 2012. Chuck also like the outdoors he loved talking about the stars, also he liked to golf, playing racket ball and playing tennis…. He liked to go camping and had a very memorable camping vacation with his son Visun in 2009. He also liked to talk about politics but not argue, just a nice discussion between friends and family. Over all, he was a great man who loved his God and serving the lord Jesus Christ. One of his favorite things to do was to talk about God, pray and read his bible. His ABSOLUTE favorite scripture was Psalm 23 verses 1- 6 He was a reborn again Christian and missed going to church. He LOVED the church that he had gone to for over 30 years. That church had dissolved a few years back, and he had been searching for another church but didn’t get to go because his health started to deteriorate. Chuck is now pain free in Heaven with his God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Even though we KNOW he is pain free it still hurts all of us, so we all NEED to remain strong and be supportive to one another as well as loving to one another.
