Date of Death: April 06, 2020

Deanna Mae Riedl, 78, died on April 6, 2020 in Peoria, Arizona after complications from major surgery in January of 2020. Dee was born on June 7, 1941 in Anoka, MN to Kenneth & Alvena Brunsberg. In February Dee was transferred to a rehab facility. Her husband, Ray, went to visit her every morning. Both of her daughters were constant visitors as well. The rehab facility closed the doors to visitors, due to the Coronavirus, in March. In late March we were able to get Facebook Messenger on her phone and she was able to talk to most of her family near and far. She had said to the nurses at the rehab facility: “This is the BEST day! I got to talk to my kids and grandkids, my sister and sister-in-law.” Those of us who did get to video chat with her were blessed as we were able to say "I love you" one more time! Deanna was an avid crafter. She was skilled in crocheting, knitting, cross-stitch & even dabbled making a few quilts. She enjoyed watching her favorite soap opera, “The Bold & The Beautiful”. She loved her family, friends and even her 4-legged furry friends. Dee is survived by her husband of 40 years, Raymond (Ray) Riedl. Her children Jim (Holly) Meade; Terri (Dane) Tresise, and Tammi (Dave) Fellows. She was blessed with grandchildren: Jenni (Brent) Loeffler, Kayla Tresise, Dustin (Cierra) Fellows, Nikki (Cody) Downs, Daniel (Lacey) Fellows, Jimmy Meade, Morgan Mitchell, Josh Meade, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. She is also survived by her sister Mary (Jim) Breakey, brother Richard (Diana) Brunsberg & step-brother Larry Roberts. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Deanna June Brunsberg, half-sister Debra Ragland, son John Meade, grandson Tyler Tresise, and grandson-in-law Alex Mitchell. Her great-grandson Aiden Michael joined her in heaven just 9 days after she passed away. She was loved by her family & friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
