Drucella D. Hamrick of Phoenix, AZ went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 21, 2022. She was born in Noelette, TX on October 22, 1931 to Lagusta “Gus” Sargent and Lola Mae Mcbee Sargent. She was preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings, and three great grandchildren, Stephen Sinatra, Hunter Ferguson and Nova Diepstraten. She is survived by her niece that she loved like a sister, Gina Cowe and her husband of Montgomery, TX. Survivors include her sons, Marty Torosion and his wife Kathy of Clovis, CA and Clay R. Hamrick of Phoenix, AZ and her daughters, Farrell Schleu of Tempe, AZ, Elaine Anderson of Phoenix, AZ, Donnell Diepstraten and husband Paul of Chapmansboro, TN and Ila Ferguson of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, which includes her “special” caregiver, Kimberly Ferguson, 48 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Drucella, known as Dru or Sally, came to Arizona over 60 years ago. When her children were small she was a stay at home mom but as they got older she worked in electronics. However, the last fifteen years before retirement was spent tending to children at her daughter’s daycare. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 107 and spent several years after retirement checking ID’s on Friday nights. Drucella was very talented in numerous types of crafts and enjoyed crafting, sewing and playing games on her tablet. If you knew Drucella, you had a true friend who accepted you for you. She along with her beautiful smile will be sorely missed by her family and her many friends.

Celebration of Life will be held October 22, 2022, 2:00 PM in the Recreation Room at El Camino Mobile Home Park located 2524 E. Contention Mine Road, Phoenix, AZ 85032. Use first entrance on North side of road if parking not available park across the street on Contention Mine.
