Dwight (Robert) Chase, 78, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2019, surrounded by family, in Sun City West, AZ. Born December 17, 1940 in Seattle WA, he spent most of his life in Washington state. He attended Auburn Academy and Lincoln High School. He was a builder, and worked that into his career with his own company as a building contractor, a maintenance manager at Harborview Hospital in Seattle, WA (which he lovingly referred to as "the zoo"). He loved boats, being on the water, Harley Davidson motorcycles, Chevy's, the sunshine/heat, his friends and family. We aren't sure how we will move forward without our dad/brother/partner/grandpa/papa/uncle. Whenever anyone needed him, he was always there. Someone we could always depend on, and someone we could go to for advice or help. He is survived by his longtime partner, Judi Mcclain. His children: Kelly (Heather) Chase, Julie (Patrick) Healy, Neale (Jeff) Creswell. His grandchildren: Kevin (Ashley) Higginbotham, Kailin (Lucas) Higginbotham, Tyler Hoffman, Shelby Hoffman, Alex (Chris) Hansen, John Healy and Brenden Healy. His great grandchildren: Garnet Higginbotham, Redmond Higginbotham, Austin Martin, Cooper Martin & Mckenzie Martin. He is preceded in death by his partner Mary Parker, his granddaughter Kristin Higginbotham, his brother Gordon Chase, his friends Pete, Mike and Merlin, his parents, and grandparents.
