Eddie Reyes, born 12/31/1938 in Flagstaff, AZ, entered into rest on 10/12/2023 at his home in Phoenix, AZ. He was a beloved husband, step-father, Tata, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Reyes, his parents Nasario and Maria Reyes, mother in-law Lilia, father in-law Zenaido, his step-son Bobby Felix, his grandchildren Dominique & Eddie Felix, his siblings Ralph Reyes, Bernadino Reyes, Ignasia Garcia, Delfina Gutierrez, Josephine Olmos & Angie Barela. Eddie is survived by his step-daughters Dolores & Lily, his grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Lupita, Jessica, Raulito, his great-grandchildren, Lola, Samuel, Tatiana, Moses, Isayah, Eddie, Marcos, Isaac, Xavier and Cortez and his great-great-grandchildren, Alexia, Sebastian and Emerly, his sisters Polly, Dolores and brother John, including his many nieces and nephews. Eddie graduated from Flagstaff High School, class of 1958. He joined the Navy in 1960 and served until 1966. Eddie worked at Zenith for some time then he went to trade school in Tucson for refrigeration repair. He worked as a refrigeration technician for Amana for many years until he retired at the age of 62. Eddie enjoyed taking photos and photography was one of his hobbies. He also liked hosting family gatherings for the holidays. Eddie was a sports fan. He rooted for all of the Arizona sports teams. He enjoyed traveling to visit his family in Flagstaff and Tucson and he loved taking vacations with his wife Nancy to San Diego. The memory of Eddie will live on through his family.
Service Information
Eddie's funeral services will take place on Friday, November 3rd, 2023 at Saint Gregory's Catholic Church - 3440 N. 18th Ave., with a viewing at 9:15am, mass at 10:15am, followed by a procession to his final resting place at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery - 2033 N. 48th Street.
