Gaylan Taylor Oliphant passed away in peace on September 7, 2021 surrounded by his loving children and his sisters. He was a provider both as a father and grandfather and, most recently, a great grandfather whose work rate was second to none. The legacy of his family and the lessons he taught us all live on forever in our hearts and minds. Gaylan was also an accomplished musician, singer and songwriter who loved performing on stage. From intimate family gatherings to large festival venues, whether local shows or concerts in the far corners of the world, his love for music was nourishment for his soul. Gaylan's charisma and talent shined bright; touching not only the hearts of those who knew him but also those who enjoyed watching him perform. He was happiest playing music and always said he would perform until his dying days, and he did just that. Gaylan is survived by a lasting legacy of friends, fans and family who will forever miss him.
