Guy Weston Trahan, age 63, of Waddell, Arizona passed away at his home on Sunday, October 16, 2022, with his wife and children at his bedside. He was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2008 and courageously fought to the end. Guy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Arizona State University and worked in several positions including Special Procedures at John C. Lincoln Health Network and ER Director at Banner Boswell. Guy was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Parish in Surprise, Arizona. His interests included traveling, camping, hiking, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and friends. Guy is survived by his wife Rene’ (Burd) Trahan of Waddell, AZ, children Alyssa Burtamekh (Jason) of Surprise, AZ, Trent Trahan of Waddell, AZ and Quinn Trahan of Peoria, AZ; parents Weston Trahan (Anita) of Lake Charles, LA and Martha McCool of Philadelphia, MS; Siblings Cynthia Comer of Philadelphia, MS and Mitch Trahan (Evelyn) of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren Kyden Parras of Surprise, AZ and Brynn Laun of Peoria, AZ, Makena, Marlee and Amara Trahan of Peoria, AZ, nephew Justin Comer (Danielle) of Highpoint, NC and niece Rachel Burd of Plainfield, IL.
