Our beloved mother, Helen Elizabeth Palame, born November 7,1930 passed peacefully and went with Jesus, with her husband and daughter holding her hands on July 17, 2022. Helen was married at seventeen to Charles Peter in 1948, her husband of 74 wonderful years. Since the age of fifteen she cared for her brothers and sister due her mother’s early passing. She was a strong, amazing lady who went on to become a very successful businesswoman. She was also a breast cancer survivor of many years. Helen loved to travel, loved music, was a great cook, and most of all loved spending time with her family. Survived by her loving husband Charles, her son Peter and his wife Linda, her daughter Diane, grandson Damon and his wife Kirsten and two great grandsons Rocco and Luca and her sister, Mary Ann Carl. Predeceased by her sister Adeline, brothers George, James, and Robert. Mass of remembrance, and celebration of life to be scheduled for a later date.

We are sorry for the loss of aunt Helen. I will remember the last in New York after flying back from Athens, Greece. It was great seeing y’all that day. Love you all.

I have many great memories with Helen. The trips with our Parkin group of friends. She was a good women and friend.
