Hilary George was ushered into heaven on October 27th, 2023, to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ. Hilary was 85 years of age. She was born in Singapore to British parents and left on the second to last ship out of the harbor to Australia at the start of WWII. She eventually met the love of her life Ron, or "My Preacher Man" as she called him, and they were married in 1962. Their marriage was admired by all who had the privilege to observe and an example of true love. When Hilary's children were young, she was the ultimate stay-at-home-mom, pouring every ounce of herself into creating a loving and caring home. Hilary was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She cared deeply for her family, neighbors and friends, serving because love was always her motive, the first to offer a kind word, gentle hand, shoulder to cry on and listening ear. She was faithful, committed and an inspiration to those around even in her final days. She stood meekly, yet confidently, she walked humbly but with grace, she didn't like attention yet people were drawn to her, and when others were weak she would stand strong. Hilary is survived by her sister Rosemary, great-grandson Oliver, grandsons Cody, Zack, Will, Trysten and Jake, granddaughter Sydney, daughter Wendy and husband Mark, sons Warren and wife Cheryl, Bryan and wife Terri, Jeff and beloved husband Ron. Proverbs 31:28-29 "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."

Service Information

A Celebration of Life will take place at the home of Mark and Wendy, December 3rd 2-4.

In leu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, in honor of the outstanding care they provided Hilary during her final days.
