Hortencia Almanza 72, passed away peacefully at her home in Scottsdale Arizona, Saturday, September 19th, 2020, surround by her children. Hortencia live in Arizona all her life and had a career of 27 years at Motorola until she retired. She was the first born of nine children and loved being part of a large family. As the eldest she always tried to be there for her siblings who she cared deeply for. Her family grieves her passing as a large part of their hearts are missing today. They take comfort in knowing she is free no longer in pain or suffering, her battle with cancer is over. She is now beginning life with our Lord and Savior and reunited with her loved ones. Hortencia is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Francis Ramirez— Ernesto Cortez, a brother Arthur Ramirez, and a sister Ruby Gower. She is Survived by her loving husband Miguel Garcia of San Luis MX. Also, her three adored children and spouses, Patricia (Sergio) Dominguez, Ray (Troy) Almanza and Irma (David) Wallace. Hortencia was a proud grandmother to Sylvia, Lorina, Matthew, Andrew, James and Leah. Also, a great-grandmother to Alicia, Matthew Jr, Andrew, Jadyn , Gianna, Gabriel and Ryder. She adored her sisters- Linda, Barbra, Francis, Andrea, Lydia, sister-in-law Francis and brother Miguel. She was a proud aunt to many nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly. She was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones. She loved and lived life to its fullest. She was always friendly to everyone who crossed her path. She had a beautiful contagious smile and warm welcoming hugs. She was well known by her friends at Bingo as “shorty.” She loved to travel and got to do her dream trip to Hawaii. She also got to be part of the audience of her favorite game show -The Price is Right. Until we are reunited again, your love in our hearts we will keep forever.
