Jack Cooper Warren, Jr. passed away at home in Surprise, AZ after a long battle with cancer on August 31, 2020 at the age of 69. Jack was born on March 6, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama to Jack Cooper Warren, Sr and Gwen Mae Nail. He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran serving in two tours of duty with the 1st Aviation Brigade; 192nd Assault Helicopter Company (Polecats and Tiger Sharks); 1st Flight Platoon, Polecats; 1st Cavalry Division, Engineers Corps (state side) and Jack earned his Aircrew Badge, Air Medal award, Army Commendation medal, National Defense Service medal, Vietnam Service medal, and Vietnam Campaign medal during his military service. He retired in 2013 from aviation as a helicopter mechanic working on wildfire, logging and oil exploration contracts while traveling to numerous countries. He is survived by his sister Susan Flournoy of Florida, daughters Juliette Dennis and Angela Brown (Leo) of Surprise, AZ, nieces Rani Richardson and Addie Allen (Tyler) and nephew Ryan Richardson of Florida, and grandchildren Rylee, Makayla, and Zade Brown.
The family plans a private Celebration of Life in his honor in lieu of a funeral service.
