He leaves behind: wife, June (Williams) and three children: Mark, Todd and Amy (Unkefer) and 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He graduated from Rose Poly Tech Institute in 1949 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1963 he earned a Masters Degree in Business from Indiana State University. His college was interrupted by his time serving in the Air Force as a cryptographer in D. C. He was an engineer for Visqueen Corporation in Terre Haute, Indiana, then plant manager for Reynolds Metals Company in Phoenix, Arizona after which he taught full time and was Chairman of the Technical Department at Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona. He retired in 1989. During retirement, he enjoyed golf, playing cards, tinkering with household projects and listening to music - especially Dixieland and Barbershop. It was well known that he kept copious notes on everything.
