Jarka “Linda” Kazda, formerly of Fountain Hills, AZ, passed away peacefully on August 13th, 2023 in Phoenix, AZ. Born in Czechia on March 31, 1946 – she emigrated to the US in January of 1969 with her family: her husband, Richard and her daughter, Zuzanna. She overcame the language barriers and became a citizen of the United States where she had a successful career in Nursing. An avid gardener, she had a passion for orchids and was heavily involved with the Arizona Orchid Society, winning multiple awards. She adored animals and cared for many pets over the years. Later in life she indulged in traveling the world. She was loved by many for her directness and humor. She is survived by her daughter, Michala Kazda.
