Joseph John “Jay” Cresto, age 49, of Mesa, AZ, passed away January 27, 2023. He was born in Sierra Vista, AZ and graduated from Buena High in 1992. He obtained his Associates Degree from Cochise Community College in 1997 and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Canyon University in 2015. He spent five years serving in the US Navy seeing the world and then drove a semi-truck for another five seeing the United States. He then worked at the Veterans Hospital in Phoenix. He is survived by his parents Jim and Judi Cresto, his sisters Jamie Cresto (John Behr) and Lesley Roth and nephew Allen Roth. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans. A small private service will be held at a later date.
