Our dearest wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother Judith (Judy) Lee McMackin sadly passed away on September 17th, 2022 at the age of 76. Judy was born on January 11th, 1946 in Kokomo Indiana. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was well-loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Martha Gilbert and her sister Rebecca Ford. She is survived by her husband of 45 years David McMackin and her children: William (Helen) Bardin, Charlene (Harold) McDonald, Martha (Tracy) Krausse and Beverly (Mark) Roemer. Grandchildren: Kyle, Kaylee, Paola, Andrea, Ryan, Ashley, Gavin, Janey, Marissa, and Jacob. Great Grandchildren: Jayda, Hendrix, Brynnlee, Braelynn, Easton and Declan. Judy will be especially remembered for her beautiful personality and fiery spirit that served to strengthen everyone she met.
To honor Judy’s memory, we are holding a memorial on October 1st 2022 @ 11 am at Best Funeral Services at 9380 W Peoria Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345. We invite anyone who knew her to attend and remember her life. We ask attendees to wear bright colors.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a special needs organization of your choice. Immediately following the memorial we will have a celebration of life gathering at David and Judys home located immediately afterwards at 9419 W. Judy was such a wonderful person. If you knew her at all, you could tell how much she loved her family. She and I shared a lot of laughs throughout the years. I will miss her.
Very sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. Had the honor of working with her for many years at Farmers Insurance. She was a very special lady that will be missed by so many. Prayers being said for David and family during this difficult time.
Worked with Judy at glencroft, we picked on each other, laughed alot. Remember my car broke down at work and she wouldn’t take no for an answer she drove me home 10 miles out of her way. Her heart so full of love. Miss you Judy
Such a wonderful person and wonderful soul. Judy was very special and brightened many a day! She will be fondly remembered.
