Kathleen B. Kaiser (67) passed away peacefully at Mom’s Place Care Facility in Glendale, AZ on July 22, 2022, after a life of service, leadership, and generosity. Kathy had many close friends whom she loved and who cared deeply for her. Her love of animals was also strong and included her dogs Mickey, Kia, and Jack, her cat Bambino, and the many creatures she cared for as a volunteer at animal shelters. Kathy’s intelligence and commitment to excellence showed in everything she did. Kathy was born February 9, 1955 in Stratford, WI. She attended Stratford High School (1969-1973), active as a member of cheerleading squads, high school band, and French III and Art Clubs. Kathy graduated with highest honors from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (BS, 1978), and from Northern Arizona University (MEd, 1997). She became a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition after studying at Atwood Institute for Research and Education. Kathy enjoyed teaching physical education and languages at schools on Washington Island, WI and in Mexico. She served many years as Manager of Special Interest Classes for The City of Peoria, AZ until her retirement. Kathy was fluent in French and Spanish. She enjoyed reading, attending the opera, and being a lifelong learner. Kathy was predeceased by her parents Ray and Betty (Feirer) Kaiser. She is survived by siblings Rae Kaiser (John Ganahl) of Madison, WI, Beth Kaiser of Stratford, WI, and Bill Kaiser (Pat Thomsen) of Stratford, WI; nephew Taylor Kaiser of Stratford, WI, and niece Kaycee Kaiser of Mount Prospect, IL. Kathy’s ashes will be placed next to her parents’ grave in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Stratford, WI at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Fire House Event Center, 8307 W. Washington St., Peoria, AZ on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 6:00-9:00 pm
