Larry was predeceased by his father Thomas McCloe and is survived by his mother Catherine He is survived by his daughters and son in law, Cathy Dillenbeck (Patrick Larrabee) and Dominica McCloe and spouse (Jared Diaz). His grandchildren Shelby Dillenbeck, Matelyn Diaz, Jared (JJ)Diaz, and Layla Diaz. His former spouse and the love of his life Marie McCloe. A special brother George (Cindy) McCloe, sisters Loretta (Fred) Kappler, and Rebecca Kuhns and a special niece Keirsten Dietrichsen and many other nieces and nephews. His will be greatly missed by his beloved rescue dogs Peaty and Rascal. Larry was proud to have served his country in the Vietnam war. During his service he received The National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/ 4 Bronze Service Stars; Sharpshooter and Expert infantry medals, and The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Larry was proud to serve his country on a voluntary basis and that he was not drafted. Larry was a disabled veteran with long term effects of agent orange exposure. He loved to golf and greatly missed his golf buddies as his health declined. Larry loved his family and he was a hard worker and his work career including welding, a welding instructor, and car salesman. He was very successful in all of his careers and provided well for his family. He had a bountiful love for his family and his dogs and he will be missed dearly. The family would like to also thank his nurses Lyrica, Darcy, Tera and his aid Jamie for their amazing care. The family would like to also thank Dr. Casiano and Taylor at Iora Primary Care they were always available and willing to help at anytime. Larry is a Vietnam Veteran and was very proud to have served his country without being drafted.

Service Information

A memorial service will be held April 15, 2021 at 2:30pm with full military honors at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
