Leo Francis Provencher (63) passed away on Saturday May 4th 2019. Born in Lawrence Massachusetts, he was the son of Maureen O’brien and Joesph Arthur Provencher (deceased). He is survived by his wife Lisa Provencher, his daughters- Joelle Provencher, Tatiana Provencher, Tabitha Baker, Alexis Tourgeman, Angela Maier and Jessica Gibson; and his grandchildren- James “Ryan” Baker, Jackson Baker and Zoe Maier. Leo was a very compassionate man, always trying to take care of others. He donated to several charities every month. His greatest accomplishments in his life were his family and his work. Before retirement, Leo was a very talented paper salesman at Spicers Paper in Phoenix, Arizona. He won several prestigious League Cum Laude awards, which he was extremely proud of.

Service Information

Services will be at the Best Funeral Services chapel at 501 E Dunlap Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85020 on Saturday May 11th 2019. Viewing will be from 4-6 pm with services at 6 pm. After services all are welcome to join us for dinner at one of his favorite restaurants, Macayo’s, on 59th Ave and Bell. Leo will be cremated after memorial service and at a later time will be buried at Louis B Hazelton cemetery in Buckeye, AZ.


In lieu of flowers, if you wish, please make any size donation under Leo’s name to one of the charities he supported. Phoenix Children’s Hospital, wounded warriors, St. Judes and food for the hungry.
