Date of Birth: May 21, 1946
Date of Death: August 03, 2023
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother, Linda Katherine (Paine) Adams, on August 3, 2023. The oldest of 3 children, Linda was born on May 21st, 1946, in Milwaukee WI. She moved to Phoenix, AZ at age 6 and attended Montebello Elementary School and West High School. Linda met her husband, David, while working at Montgomery Wards, and married at 19 for 44 years until his passing. Being a mother and having a family was the world to her. We fondly remember how she would go all out on holidays with decorations and touches that made everything special. Linda had an affinity for art. She would share handmade tole-painted Christmas ornaments with family and friends every year. Her passion in later years transitioned into scrap-booking and card making. We all looked forward to receiving her creations on holidays and special events. Linda worked at Cactus High School for 18 years as their attendance secretary. She loved the connection with the teachers and students, even though she had to get tough on them at times. In retirement, Linda and Dave spent many years camping and traveling. Some of the best trips they had were going to Europe, and spending summers camping in Mackay, Idaho. She always wanted to go back to Ireland. Proudly an endometrial cancer survivor, she was hopeful she would survive her very recent pancreatic cancer diagnosis. She was taken far too early. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Ardell (Hal) and Virginia Paine, and her husband, David E. Adams. She is survived by her brother, James Paine (Belinda), sister, Christine Pierzchalski (Jeff), son, Clint Adams (Jean), daughter, Kelly Adams, granddaughters, Kaitlyn Braaten (Dillon), Kelsey Rouiller (Spencer DeBoard), and Lindsay Gillis (Jacob), 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, who will be dearly missed.

Linda was a dear friend to me & my family. We knew each other a long time & enjoyed many get togethers with her & Dave. Special trips with our RV’s & a very special 6 week travel trip in Europe was the best! I have many memories of Linda & Dave & Butch & I that go back to the early 60’s. Linda was a special lady. I will miss her. 💗🙏
Linda’s passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts and in our lives. I will miss her laugh, her positivity and her friendship. My condolences to her family and to her many other friends. I will miss you Linda.
