Lucille Camuso, 94, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away at her home on April 18, 2021 after a long happy journey from New York to Arizona. Lucille was born on March 26, 1927 to Albert and Mary Valerio of Syracuse, NY. After graduation from North HS Syracuse in 1944, "Lucy" went on to become a prominent business figure in the upstate area as owner of the Bayside Inn and as an account executive for Deveau Ford Tractor & The Wagon Wheel among others. In Arizona, Lucy would serve prominent roles in her son's businesses at CAMCO electronics, Casa Hermosa, and Doc's Gym Inc. Lucy was a fiercely independent women and took no excuses while raising four children and 2 grandchildren. After semi-retirement Lucy would dedicate her time as a masterful painter of oils, swimming, caring for stray animals, and watching her shows! Lucille is predeceased in death by her parents and brother Albert, her son James, grandaughter Karen. She is survived by sons Bill Camuso, Dan Nichols, daughter Katherine Camuso, granddaughters Suzanne Camuso, Kristie Edelman, Danni Nichols, Rachel Nichols and grandsons Aaron and Adam Camuso. And... a growing list of great grandchildren.
