Date of Birth: February 19, 1985
Date of Death: September 12, 2023
Marijke Kristine Logan--beloved Daughter of Kathleen Dahl and Scott Logan and stepmother Elizabeth Logan--transitioned to a place of eternal peace on September 12, 2023. Marijke is also survived by brothers Benjamin Logan (wife Chesley), Kai Logan, and Christian Johnson (wife Bethany) and loving companion Greg Waugh. Marijke was a talented artist, earning a scholarship to the San Francisco Art Institute. Her studies there were cut short as a result of complications from a traumatic brain injury sustained in a car accident at age 13. The challenges of her injury were courageously endured by Marijke throughout her adult life. We lovingly remember Marijke's intelligence, her beauty, and her artistry. Marijke's gifts will remain with us forever.

We remember Marijke as a gifted artist and a wonderful human being. It is a tragedy that she had to struggle for so many years to overcome a traumatic brain injury sustained when she was so young. It is comforting to know that her suffering has now ended.
Rest in peace Marijke, your art and compassion made the world a better place. My prayers are with you and your family. Thank you for enlightening our world.
What a beautiful picture! What a beautiful obituary! We Will always remember Marijke in her youth visiting us at Harris Lake before her injury, which robbed her of her potential. Love, Uncle Dwight & Aunt Barbara
Marijke had a beautiful spirit. My deepest condolences to all of her family and friends who will miss her so much. It’s just so sad. My love to you all as you grieve her loss.
Thank you for the beautiful tribute to Marijke. This is the Marijke I will remember and continue to love. The road through her life was difficult and painful, not just for Marijke, but for those around her who loved her. Dear Scott, Ben, Kai and Liz, I hope you find comfort in the knowledge that Marike is now experiencing the lightness and joy of being in a far, far better place. With all my love, Aunt Lauren
