Gary Michael Cooper, 65, passed unexpectedly December 2nd, 2022 at home with family. He was born December 1st, 1957, in Presque Isle Maine to Fred and Shirley Cooper. Mike graduate from Griffin high school in 1976 and went on to study at ISU in Normal Illinois graduating in 1981 from Sangamon State University receiving his bachelors in accounting. He married Dagny in 1981 and they welcomed two daughters into the world Brittany and Morgan. He worked for the state of Illinois until they moved to Phoenix in 1990. He followed his dreams and started his own business in 1996 where he met his current wife Margarete adding two beautiful “bonus” daughters to his life. Mike had an excellent work ethic. He was always working on side projects in addition to his main work doing TI jobs which required a lot of travel. His time with his family and friends however, was the most cherished to him. Mikes other passion was to play golf. He would play a round once a week and was an accomplished golfer with a handicap around 10. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Surviving family members are his wife Margarete; daughter(s) Morgan, Brittany with husband Matthew, Jessie with husband Richard and Danni with partner Andrew; brother(s) Dale and Mark with wife Karen Sister(s) Jenyan with husband Alberto and Carma with husband Michael. Mike has five grandchildren whom are his pride and joy Cooper, Rypkin, Griffin, Abbi and Alexander. We can not forget his “poopies” Jack and Honey. To all of Mikes friends and family including many nieces and nephews far and wide please know we love you all just as Mike did.

A celebration of life for Mike is being held February 26th 2023 from 12:00-5:00pm at: The Kulhavy Residence 18018 N 42nd St. Phoenix, Az 85032 In lieu of flowers and gifts a go fund me has been created where donations are graciously and humbly being accepted to help the family in covering the medical costs, and the finalization of his estate. If you would rather donate in an alternative fashion please reach out to Morgan or Brittany for available options.
I am blessed and honored to have known this kind and generous man. I will miss him.
