On November 9, 2020, Ola Elizabeth (Liz) Soulvie went to stay with the angels and is rejoicing with Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Born on a farm in Athens, Alabama, she was a true Southern lady with lots of smiles and hospitality. Mama, Grandma and Gigi (Great Grandma) had a wicked sense of humor. She was a fantastic and wonderful mother. She loved to garden and grow tomatoes. Liz was famous for her holiday get togethers. She would create feasts for friends and family and make sure everyone felt welcome. Liz spent the last years of her life in beautiful Sun City, AZ – where she had a wonderful group of friends and a lovely view she woke up to every morning. She loved her family, her friends, her cats and the Arizona Cardinals. Liz is survived by 3 daughters; Pamela Christ (Robert), Lisa Wakefield (Joel) and Allison Soulvie as well as sisters Vera Barclay and Diane Jackson. Gigi and Grandmother to 10 great grandchildren, 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Liz’s legacy is her hospitality, her generosity and her amazing recipes she passed down to her family. Her family and friends will miss her terribly.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date with immediate family.
