Patricia Redman, 73 years old, lost her battle with cancer on September 3rd, surrounded by her family. Patty was born on July 27th, 1948, in Celina, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Jean Knapschafer, her father, Darl Knous, and brother Jim Knapschafer, brother-in-law, Dean Steinburg, her niece, Dawn Wesslund, and her nephews, Brad Steinburg and Larry Bennett. After graduating from St. Edmund’s high school in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, she went to St. Mary’s College in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to become a radiology technologist. She married her high school sweetheart, Calvin Redman, on September 30th,1967. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona, over 50 years ago. She worked as a CT tech at St. Joe’s Hospital for 19 years and then other hospitals around the valley. She loved her job and treated every patient with dignity and kindness. After 12 years of marriage, they were blessed with their only daughter, Erica, who became the center of their world. Patty lived an abundant life full of adventures. She loved all things vintage. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion for all things related to vintage clothing. She loved it all, from buttons to jewelry, hats, purses, gloves, and lots of memorabilia. She had fun selling at vintage shows, but you could never tell anything was ever sold. Patty traveled the world with Calvin. She had been to every place she desired! When traveling the U.S, they were in their RV. (She loved motor homes and was always on the lookout for the next one). They brought Erica and then the grandkids with them on many of their trips. Patty loved being a grandma and always supported them at every event, show, and performance for all four of them. She was so proud of them! She had a unique relationship with each of them and was amazing at making each of them feel special, loved, and supported! Patty’s smile was infectious, and everyone was drawn to her. She was known for her laughter and carefree spirit. Patty touched so many lives and had a way of making others feel confident in themselves. She will be missed beyond measure! She is survived by her husband Calvin Redman, her daughter Erica Pulliam, son-in-law Rob Pulliam, her four grandchildren Haley, Penelope, Jillian, and Murphy.
