Obituary For Paul LeMay Veyette Jr. September 4th, 1976 - January 5th, 2020 After 43 years of stubbornly fighting health issues stemming from severe asthma, allergies, cancer and a desire to make the afterlife wait for his cunning wit… Paul Jr has passed. He went out with the grace and charm he arrived with. Still making jokes just hours before passing, like telling doctors when his younger brother walked in, “The problem is I should look like him, only taller and handsomer.” He was attended by his mother Dallas, younger brother Michael and sister Michelle during his final hours. Paul Jr listened through the night to his Mothers prayers and brothers poor singing of classic rock music from a Pandora play list with too many ACDC songs. Paul Jr was the best of men. He persevered through health struggles that he never let interrupt the enjoyment of life. He loved golf, home remodeling projects, cars, animals, and just about any hobby you presented to him. He loved nothing more than “You,” the family and friends that God granted him. He was always happy to attend whatever the event or outing was, and he was a spectacular companion. He must have read every manual because he knew almost everything. Three times in life Paul called Phoenix, Arizona his home, with stops in Denver, Colorado, and twice in Visalia & Huntington Beach, California. Paul could beat us with a pool cue and golf club on his worst day. He was always encouraging and outgoing. On a beautiful sunny summer evening, with the most awesome Arizona sunset, Paul’s brother claimed: “You are the best older brother anyone ever had.” Paul is survived by, his Mother Dallas, Brothers Michael, Francis, and Andrew, sisters Michelle and Lauren, doting Nephews Michael Jr., Marcus “Paul”, Matthew, and Merris, and Niece Madelyn, God Parents Mark & Donna Veyette and friends and family which he loved. Thank you to so many Doctors and Nurses who attended Paul Jr, giving us 43 wonderful years. We are happy to know Paul Jr. is with his father again, in a place they prepare for the rest of us. “Two men walk into a thermos” by Paul Veyette Jr.
