Paula E. Bauer, age 82, died at Banner Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City, Arizona on August 1, 2021, after a brief illness. Paula was born on March 21, 1939 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Vee and Pauline Phillips. She graduated from Edina High School and the University of Minnesota, where she received a B.A. in speech communications and interior design. Through the years, she was a Realtor, owned her own design business, and was Director of Design for Furniture Industries, Inc. Paula moved with her husband Paul to Sun City, Arizona in 1997, where she enjoyed golf and ceramics. A talented artist, Paula was a past club president, taught classes, and was known as the “queen” of ceramics. Paula is survived by her children, Michelle (Doug) Johnson, Robert F. Harrison Jr., William Shaw, Diana (Greg) Meyer; her grandchildren Janelle Mattson, Jennifer (Stephen) Bauer, Julie (Jason) Hammond, Kendra (Justin) Trautman, Joseph Meyer, Carley (Mike) Salinas, Robert Harrison III, and Ainsley Meyer; her great grandchildren Alex Mattson, Peyton Mattson, Luca Bauer, Ludwig Hammond, Michele Trautman, and Grady Salinas; her beloved dog Moe. She is predeceased by her husband Paul J. Bauer, her son Paul “Butch” Bauer, her sister Janny (Frank) Allen, and her parents Vee and Pauline Philips. Paula was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and neighbor. She lived life to the fullest.
