Date of Birth: December 24, 1954
Date of Death: February 15, 2021
The remarkable Paula Marie Stallard, loving wife, mother and the proudest Native Texan, took her final breath on Monday, February 15, 2021 with her family closely at her side. Known as “Mimi”, “Grandma”, and “Momma” to her family, Paula loved nothing more than being called by each of her nicknames. Born and raised in, as she would say, Harrison Switch, Texas, she spent her days awaiting the Spring and watching her various plants and flowers bloom. Once Summer made its way, she would pack her and her family up for camping trips - most to her favorite place on earth: Galveston, Texas. Although she was a die hard Texan, in her retirement she traveled many a places out of state, in her RV with her husband Terry and their furry companions. Her travels led her to see the Grand Canyon, the Colorado Rockies, the Arches in Utah, and finally to the Valley of the Sun in Phoenix. Paula often had no filter, saying things that would bring a little redness to your cheeks and a laugh from deep within your belly. She had a way of making friends wherever she went, never meeting a stranger, even in a line at the grocery store. Her thick Texan accent and smile that could light up your day, will be incredibly missed by all that loved her. Paula is survived by her loving husband Terry, her son David and wife Melanie, her daughter Rhonda and husband Brian, and her beautiful granddaughter’s Katelyn Page and Emma Marie. She is also survived by her best friend and sister Betty along with many more loving friends and family. We hope Paula can now find peace at the ocean while listening to Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds, awaiting her family to join her soon.
Private ceremony to be held with family at a later date.
