Paula Robin Williams, more affectionately known as "Nana", passed away at her home in Glendale Arizona, Tuesday May 11th 2021. She was 64 years old. Paula was born May 22nd 1959, to Joe Dale Williams and Luella Mae Williams (Fouraker) in Cambridgeshire England. She and her family moved to San Angelo Texas when she was 6 years old, and Nana remained in Texas throughout adulthood, she spent a few years in Colorado, before finally retiring to Arizona. Nana was an avid reader, who's love of words, led her to pen a few romance novels under a pseudonym in the 1990's. Ever the shy and modest woman, family was not allowed to know the pseudonym or names of the books until after her passing. When she wasn't reading or writing, you could find her in the kitchen, cooking for loved ones; her Chicken & Dumplings were a particular favorite of those who were lucky enough to enjoy her talents in the kitchen. Nana was a Godly and faithful sister, mother, grandmother, and friend; Though her life was plagued by poor health; She never let her circumstances and her pain take the smile from her face, or the light from her eyes. Nana was and always will be, an inspiration to those who loved her. Preceeded in death by her mother, father, and brother Wayne. She is survived by her sister Karen Williams of Iowa, daughter Hayley James-Hannigan and son-in-law Zachary Hannigan of Glendale. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Ethan 17, Jackson 14, Remington 11, and Mackinzie 9. Nana passed away after a long battle with kidney disease, she was surrounded by family and her beloved cats. A proud Texan to the end, she said a few days before her passing that "Heaven ought to look pretty close to home." Her last words, "I love you" were fitting for a woman whose grace and love defined her, and will remain her greatest Legacy.
