Date of Birth: December 07, 1951
Date of Death: October 13, 2022
Randy was the second child (and only son) of five children to Arthur Oscar and Mary Juriko Trouerbach. On October 13, 2022 he followed his mom and dad and youngest sister Bianka to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. He leaves behind three sisters, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews and their families. After graduating from high school, he joined the Navy during the Vietnam war and served during the Gulf wars. Starting as a radio man on a nuclear submarine, he moved up in rank to Chief Petty Officer. His love for the Lord and Music led to the creation of his Christian recording studio "One Way Up Productions". He played at weddings and funerals and other events throughout his life. Music was his gift from God. Randy will forever be in our hearts.

Randy was a very special friend in our lives always filled with joy and laughter. He was like a younger brother to us and have many fond memories of him especially making music and recordings in his studio. He will always have a special place in our hearts. We love him but Jesus loves him more. “In the presence of Jehova, God Almighty, Prince of Peace. Troubles vanish, hearts are mended in the Presence of the King.” Rest In Peace dear Randy until we meet again. ❤️🙏🕊
Hello, I knew you when I was a child as you were my god father, I wish I could have got to know you as I got older, but I was a year too late in moving back to Phoenix. Rest well uncle, love you always and my parents love you as well still.
My sincere condolences to Randy’s family and all those who loved him. Randy will be truly missed and kept in our hearts. The Lord has called a beautiful soul home, so he may rest in peace.
My deepest sympathy to the Trouerbach family. We had some fun times Randy growing up. Say hello to my Mom and Dad. Love you my friend.
Randy will definitely be missed. We’ve played several music gigs together and he got me started in the worship ministry. He always had a good heart.
My heart goes out to the entire Trouerbach family
My heart goes out to the entire Trouerbach family ,he’ll definitelybe missed.
Randy and I played several music gigs together, he even got me involved in the worship ministry 20 years ago. I’m sure he will be playing music in Heaven ,the thing he always loved doing.
Cousin Randy and I; I have many fond memories of the times we spent together in the late 60s and 70s. I would drive out to your house from LA and we’d jam for hours on on the guitars (Randy had a nice Airline Montgomery Ward electric guitar) we’d teach each other the latest Beatle songs and riffs, had so much fun singing and playing!
One trip I recall after 1970 grad night, my dad lent me his new 70 VW bus, drove from LA, picked up Randy and we drove up to Slide Rock… had such fun hanging out, I can still hear that 3 Dog Night song in my head OUT IN THE COUNTRY (before the breathing air is gone…) haha
I will miss you Randy my brother in the Lord, I can only imagine you up there, the songs we sang together in our youth were just a prelude to what excitement you are experiencing in eternity!
Worshiping, singing to The Lord….
“With a thousand hallelujahs
We magnify Your name
You alone deserve the glory
The honor and the praise
Lord Jesus this song is forever Yours
A thousand hallelujahs
And a thousand more!!”
Amen
I had not talked to Randy in a while. We served together on the Radio Gang on the USS Lafayette SSBN616 In Groton, Conneticut 1073-75. Randy and I had always kept in contact. He came to Oklahoma for My wife Jean and I for our 50th anniversary.
I am very sorry to hear of Randy’s passing. Makes me have a heavy heart. i was the Radioman Chief of the Radio Crew.

All my prayers and love to the family. My heart aches. My memories of Randy when I was a little girl playing soccer with him and him keeping the ball away from me. I always have and will treasure. I still remember those so well. He is no longer hurting and now he is smiling on us all. All my love
Dear Inge ,Yetty, Immy and Roy and the rest of the family in Phoenix our condolences from me and Lonneke on Randy’s passing.
On behalf of Lonneke I sent this condolence knowing she has a lot of wonderful memories with her special cousin Randy in the US. Unfortunately, she can’t tell it herself but I know she loved him and was enjoying the moment making music with him.
Dear Randy you were special for her and me.
We will always remember you as a guy with a good heart and soul.
Love you cousin!
Our sincerest condolences to Inge, Irm, Yetti, Roy and the entire Trouerbach family on Randy’s passing. I have a scheduled elective surgery for the 18th and will not be able to attend although I will be with you in spirit.
I have fond memories of Randy when travelling to Phoenix in the 60’s to be with our Arizona family and on spending some precious time with Randy at Michael and Patrick’s for a “sate” lunch but for a few years ago. Randy as you know loved his “sate babi” and Patrick did not disappoint. In my minds eye I can still see him gleefully enjoying his meal. I could never figure out where he could put all the “indo” goodies.
His love for music the piano lessons he gave me and his love for God and country makes his passing all that more difficult.
Will see you on the flip side Randy!
“Rest your oars old Sailor you’re sailing out on heavenly seas…
GodSpeed to your final Berth “
My deepest sympathy to the Trouerbach Family for your loss. Chief Trouerbach was an excellent Sailor and Radioman. Music was his love and the Navy was his second family. He was highly respected for his devotion to duty and love of this Country.
May you find comfort in the Arms of the Lord.
My deepest sympathy to Randy’s family. Randy’s love for music was only surpassed with his love for Jesus! I treasure my short visits when I was able to spend time with Randy at his recording studio. We would talk about the Lord a lot. Randy was blessed with the gift of encouraging others. I was blessed to have known him! I will see you on the other side, Randy!

Love and prayers to the Trouerbach family. I am sorry to hear of your loss,.
May the Lord help you through this difficult time, and May You find comfort knowing Randy has gone home to his Lord.
Dearest Trouerbach family, my sincere condolences on the passing of Randy. I wish I could have come to the services but thank you for posting all the pictures on Facebook. I am so thankful that my husband and I got to visit with him and pray with him while he was still with us. He was a big brother to me and I treasured our friendship through the years. My parents “adopted” him as their son, we were all together in the St. Vincent prayer group and he and I led worship together. He kept in touch with us until he was put in the nursing home and mom and I enjoyed our talks with him. It’s not a coincidence that he is buried at the same cemetery as my mom and dad. I will definitely visit his gravesite the next time I’m in town. I have such fond memories of him and your family. I pray you have a blessed holiday and know that he is doing what he was created to do-worshiping the Lord in heaven! God bless you all.
Randy, you were always a very good friend. I just learned of the sad news. I always wanted to visit again but that was not to be. Thank you for allowing me to work at your studio. The late night, repetitious tracks haha. I learned it was not for me. Thanks for the home cooking, introductions to nice pleasant people. Etc. Rest in peace dear friend!
My condolences to Randy’s family. He was an awesome person. So gifted and the kindest person.
Randall and I met in 1987. We worked on a few music projects at One Way Up studio, we shared a lot of laughs, and talked about the Lord Jesus often, he always had food and snacks he would want me to try, from Holland. You never left Randy’s place hungry. I enjoyed the time we spent together. Until we meet again take care my friend. ‘To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord ‘
Randy was my good friend since 1978 and we had many good times and talks together. Many songs recorded at his studio. We shared the word together for many years. He has a kind soul, loved people and his Lord. I am heartbroken to have read about his passing.
You will be missed my dear friend.
