Raymond Allen was born on January 12, 1926 in Kansas. His family farmed land in Nemaha County and he grew up in a boisterous household with four brothers and loving parents. Raymond was a proud WWII veteran. Raymond married Lucille Olberding in Seneca, KS on April 24, 1948. Raymond farmed in Centralia, Kansas until 1953 when Raymond, Lucille, and their children moved to Colorado. They were happily married until 2007, when Lucille passed away. Raymond was a sports fan and loved nothing more than attending high school football games and watching sporting events. More than anything, Raymond loved spending time with his family. His recent 95th birthday was celebrated in a large Zoom gathering with all the family. Raymond is survived by his brothers, Boyd Allen and Martin Allen and their families, his four children and their spouses, Larry and Ann Allen, Dan and Kathleen Allen, Terry and Lisa Allen and Connie and Max Strain, and 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Raymond was dearly loved by all of his family, his friends and his caregivers at Morningstar Assisted Living in Glendale. He will be greatly missed.
