Richard Tarango Sr. “Rick” gained his wings, peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, early morning on February 3, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 63. Rick is survived by his loving lifelong partner Charlene, four children, Sherry, Richard Jr., Amy, Chloee, and his grandson Noah Tarango. He was further survived by his siblings Eddie, Lupe, Martin Jr., and Mike. Rick was born on December 9, 1957 in Safford, AZ to Martin & Feliciana Tarango. He graduated from Cortez High School in Phoenix, AZ in 1975, where soon after he started his business within the HVAC field. He and Char then built their family business. Over the next 20 years the couple welcomed four children into their home, where Rick & Char set about teaching them the HVAC trade. His children remember him as a very hard-working, generous, self-less, and loving father who encouraged them to pursue their goals & dreams. Rick was accomplished and respected within his profession, and often recognized by his employees and colleagues for his loyalty and dedication. He was a fun & out-going man who loved anything with speed and an engine. Rick was an avid car, antique, and automobilia collector which is now a staple and momentum his family can cherish in his forever memory. He was a very giving & generous man, he always put his family before himself, and others. Rick always made sure everyone he loved and cared for were comfortable and happy. A celebration of Rick’s life is scheduled for March 5, 2021 at 1pm, at Oasis Community Church, 15014 N. 56th Street #1, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. Pastor Ronald Gonzales will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Rick’s life. Due to covid-19 and CDC regulations we will require masks and social-distancing. Rick was diagnosed and fought against the disease Pulmonary Fibrosis.
