Rodney Dell Peterson, 42, Phoenix, AZ, after being reported missing on February 14th was found deceased on March 21st, 2020. Born November 6th, 1977, in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Stanley C. and Marilyn Peterson. Married Brandi Alane Flack in August 2000. Rodney graduated from Bingham High School and Utah Valley University with an associate's degree in Aviation Science and earned his pilot license. He also completed the Walt Disney World College Program. Once Rodney set his mind to something, he would do it. As a passionate and successful golfer, and someone who consistently enjoyed being outdoors, Rodney set out to golf every course in Utah one summer while being a member of the Bingham golf team. He succeeded and his accomplishment was recorded in the local newspaper. He was always content with himself and always carried a friendly demeanor, very approachable and loving. As a passionate father, he enjoyed dearly the time spent with his kids, Mya and Dylan. Video gaming, breathtaking hikes, backyard projects, scooter riding, frisbee golf, family games, cooking, etc. were all happy activities they all enjoyed. Rodney also had a passion for travel that begun at a tender age of 6, he loved the sun and the beach and felt right at home with his family at Disneyland. He is survived by his children Mya and Dylan and their loving mother Brandi of Phoenix, parents Stanley of Draper, UT and Marilyn of St. George, UT; 2 sisters Ann of St. George, UT and Lindy of American Fork, UT; 2 brothers Brian of West Jordan, UT and Bradley of Salt Lake City, UT and by 22 nieces and nephews. A small memorial service with immediate family members was held at one of his favorite hiking spots in Phoenix on March 28 2020.
