Roy B Williams loving husband, brother and father entered peacefully into the eternal presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday May 8, 2020 in Peoria, AZ at the age of 89. Roy is survived by wife Carrol A. Williams Wickenburg, AZ; Children Doby B. Williams (Kathy), Wickenburg, AZ; Marie E. Pratt (Mark) Glendale, AZ; Charles J. Williams, Buckeye, AZ; Brothers Jerry Williams, Prescott AZ and Kenneth Williams (Cathy) Ridgecrest, NC. Grandchildren RobRoy Williams (Alissa), Travis Williams, Doc Williams (Cassie), Christopher Williams (Heather), Dalton Williams and Deann Winter (Brad). Other extended family members include Boops, Deuels, Dells, Pratts,17 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Many fostered in love children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Doby Williams and mother Mary Alice Williams; his sisters Quinie Coates and Ada (Trudy) Owens Dutcher; and his beloved son Earl Fredrick Williams. Roy was born on December 30, 1930 in Las Vegas, NM to Doby and Mary Alice (Breen) Williams. He served in the United States Air Force in the strategic air command during the Korean War. Roy married the love of his life Carrol Whittenburg in September 1956. Over the next 63 years, the couple welcomed four children into their home and Doby, Marie, Charles and Fred. They set about teaching them how to be God fearing, hard working men and women. Carrol remembers him as loving, honest, faithful and hardworking. His children remember him as loving, strong, and courageous he encouraged them to pursue life well. Roy was in the electrical trade his entire life. Some of his accomplishments were recognition as the outstanding apprentice when he topped out as a Journeyman Lineman at APS in 1958 and served as the assistant business manager for local 387. Roy was employed by numerous companies throughout the United States. He retired from APS in 1995 as Yuma area supervisor. Roy spent his life influencing men and women to become honest, faithful and hardworking. He and Carrol lived their dream in 1972 until he passed as the owner operators the Williams Family Ranch of Wickenburg, AZ. Roy served The Lord God faithfully and was passionate about others coming to know Jesus Christ as their savior. Roy is remembered by his love.
