Tony Medina, age 79, of Peoria, AZ passed away on May 5, 2023. He was currently living in a Memory Center, under the care of Ability Hospice. Tony was an Eagle Scout and was always prepared for all scenarios. He served in the Air Force. After the service, he returned to Morenci, where he became a Machinist for life. Tony was very involved with the Union. After the strike he moved to the Valley with his wife of 43 years. Tony enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an exceptional fisherman, who always had a story to tell about his adventures. All who know him will miss his storytelling. Tony is survived by his wife Lena of 43 years, 3 children, Stephanie, Jason and Marlo, 2 stepchildren, Johnny and Carol. He has 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Tony enjoyed his retirement and lived every day to the fullest. He loved being the life of the party. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral Mass will be: June 1, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 6180 W. Utopia Rd Glendale, AZ 85308 Burial is at 2:00 Pm. National Memorial Cemetery of AZ 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd Phoenix, AZ 85024

Jason, Monica, Adam and Emma, Pops and I are so sorry for your great loss. Dad Tony/Grandpa Tony will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. He loved his family including Stephanie and her family and Marlo and her family. His random visits were always welcome with the great conversations that took place.
