Date of Birth: May 23, 1953
Date of Death: July 26, 2022
Denny was born on May 23, 1953 in Waukegan, Illinois. Surrounded by loved ones, he entered into Heaven on July 26, 2022 at age 69 following a courageous battle with cancer. Denny called Arizona home after his military family settled here in 1968. He graduated from Glendale High School in 1972. In the late 70’s Denny briefly lived in the Pacific NW and was very fond of the outdoor hunting and fishing opportunities there. He found his way back to his love of fishing in recent months. Denny loved all things weather and astronomy related; he was a wealth of knowledge of many things. If anyone had a question about the weather or outer space, he was the go-to guy. We imagine that his present view of the cosmos is overwhelming to say the least. He loved animals, enjoyed dining out frequently and often made friends with the staff. He was a faithful employee of Reuter Equipment Company where he devoted 37 years of his life. He truly loved his job and his work family and will be sorely missed by them. Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Denny Sr. & Dorothy Jones. Also by his great grandparents Ed (Pop) & Nina Jones and Vivian & Louise Coltes. We know a great reunion is taking place. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandi, his son Timothy Jones, daughter Robin (Brent) Brooks, stepsons Robert Chavez and Mike (Shannon) Demond. His brothers Steven (Sherry), Glenn and Dale. Grandchildren Samantha, Timothy, Tristan, Cody, Tiffani, Colt, Ashley, Zach, Madison, Matthew & Morgan. He was also blessed by great grandchildren and special friendships including his beloved pets Panda & Domino and his grand-doodles Charlie & Dudley. "Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light. I've loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."
