Date of Birth: May 20, 1947
Date of Death: April 24, 2020
Bob has taken his final horseback ride home on April 24,2020. Until his last breath he lived his old cowboys’ ways. This is the man Bob would like us to remember him by. Now he can finally rest comfortable with his lovely wife Betty. Bob was brought in the world on March 20, 1947 by his Mother Doris and Father Herman Marshall. His strong work ethics and sweet kind heart we all knew in Bob, came from his mother. He showed this through and through being raised with his five sisters, Judy, Tot, Ann, Rae, and Faye. He was indeed the middle child, but he will always be the big protector over them all. He loved each of them dearly and he will continue to watch over them. As we are today laying him to rest on May 5th, 2020, we can admire the memories he shares with his beautiful wife Betty. Today they celebrated their 53-year anniversary together. We all can embrace the happiness they share between them. Starting in that old roller skating ring where they fell madly in love. He lived his live happily with his true love Betty in the house they builder together for their family. Bob was a proud father to Robert Marshall and Melonie Bailey. He showed his son the proper cowboy values of being respectful, and honorable. He showed his daughter how to be head-strong and to always to be determined to follow after her dreams. He leaves his in-print in both of them. May his encouraging words live on through his four grandchildren, Ryan, Reba, Scott and Stephanie. He was the grandpa who was always sneaking those sweets and always leaving inspiring words behind. Today we can leave with the thoughts of the great man Bob was. He was the man of many traits. We all take away from him the strength he carried from within. Let us come together in his memory shed a few tears but leave in a smile as we all know he lays peaceful in heavens above
