Willa Dean Aicon, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 21st, 2023 at the age of 75 in Anthem, Arizona. She was born on January 21st, 1948, in Phoenix, to Wilford and Vivian Aicon. Willa attended Flagstaff High School before attending Northern Arizona University, where she achieved a Business Certificate before becoming a mother. Throughout her later career, she worked as a Sales Professional on and off, eventually finishing off and retiring as a Sales and Marketing Representative at Ron Turley Associates. Willa was a take-charge professional with excellent negotiation, motivation, and communication skills. She retired to take care of her oldest granddaughter until Kaelyn turned six months old. They spent each day together then and several shopping trips after! Willa is survived by her brother, Gary Aicon (Evelyn - sister-in-law, Terra, Kerrie, Kayla - nieces), her daughter, Kristie Peruch, son-in-law Chris Peruch, and her two adored granddaughters, Kaelyn and Lizzy. Willa was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Zeb. Willa was a devoted mother and grandmother who treasured spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandkids. Willa had a big heart and always loved to serve others, helping whenever she could. She particularly enjoyed cooking meals for those in need, as well as for her family. She was known for her delicious flour tortillas and Lefsa. Her family and friends always loved her food deliveries. Willa was active and always bustling around the house, cleaning and working in the yard, and had an abundance of energy. In addition to her love for her family, Willa had a green thumb, loved growing plants and gardening, going to casinos, and spending time at the beach. She had a special place in her heart for dogs and loved spending time with the Lord at church and in the Bible. Willa will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her kind and giving spirit is a legacy that will spread and grow among her family and friends as they remember her. Willa's memorial service will be held at CCV - Anthem Campus (39905 N Gavilan Peak Pkwy, Anthem, AZ 85086) at 10:30am on May 15, 2023. Willa loved !
Willa was a very special person to me, and my family. I always thought of her as family.
Willa shared her generous spirit, exhuberant energy and kind heart with us through the years. She always made me feel welcome and cared for in her presence. And she went above and beyond helping my mom. I will be forever grateful to her for that.
I will cherish the memory of her visit to MT to escort my mom to isee me and my first born child. After each full day of helping mom and me, she had enough energy left to plant the garden. And she asked nothing in return. I appreciated that she was always smiling and cheering us up with her special laugh. She was so generous of her time and kindness. I feel lucky to have known her and to have had her as part of my family. She will truly be missed.
Willa was a beautiful person whose memory will remain in our hearts. She will be dearly missed.
We are sorry to have missed Willa’s memorial service and celebration of her wonderful life.
Willa was a joy to be around, always so full of spunk, making sure everyone was taken care of all with a huge smile!
She will be missed!
